What happens in the Discover step
Discovery is about building a comprehensive view of what your business actually owns — beyond what the balance sheet reports. Under IAS 38 and FRS 102, internally generated intangible assets cannot be recognised on the balance sheet, which means the assets driving most of your value are invisible to traditional accounting.
